After releasing a vinyl E.P. in 2019, and a rarities and demos record in 2020, The Scissors are back with a brand new song that bridges the gap between the dark storybook punk rock of their early career and the polished pop punk of their later years.
The newly formed lineup features The Scissors three original members Darren Vorel, Dave Schneider, and Steve Mast as well as Plain White T's bassist Mike Retondo. Also, long time producer and engineer Matt Allison (Alkaline Trio, The Lawrence Arms, The Menzingers, Masked Intruder) is back to give fans of the band the familiar sound that defined Chicago punk rock in the early 2000s.
